WHAT?  I've had to ask for directions numbers of times.  Who can expect to reach a goal when they have no idea which direction they're headed?  I've also known women determined to reach their destination on their own.  Determination and pride run in both sexes. The seasons are certainly more pronounced than they were in the Aurora Icefield.  All year long, it was snow and ice, snow and ice, snow and ice.  Here, there are trees with leaves that change color and flowers that wither.
